Caramel Apple Cake

Caramel Apple Cake is a light, fluffy cake paired with a drool-worthy layer of tart apples and caramel sauce.

The best recipes are often a result of error; in this case, I made some apple pie filling, but the new recipe I attempted for pie crust failed. However, I decided to salvage the caramel apples, which resulted in a caramel apple upside-down cake. What started out as an experiment, and almost turned into an epic failure, became a phenomenal dessert!
